Dr. Shane C. Peterson did not inherit good health nor did he develop good health habits in his younger years. It has been a gradual process and a continued search for true health that has lead him to chiropractic. In 1994 Dr. Peterson took the first step in his journey. He graduated from the Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota. From there he practiced as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and became certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. As part of the Code Team and Trauma Team he worked with life support machines, particularly for post cardiac and post spine surgery patients. In 1996 Dr. Peterson married his wife, Lisa, a registered nurse at Luther Hospital. Three days later they both began their chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. This dramatic career change was the result of the growing dissatisfaction with conventional health care. Dr. Peterson and his wife became more and more interested in helping people attain health safely and naturally rather than with aggressive drugs and surgery. Dr. Peterson graduated from Palmer College with academic honors in 1999. He then attended post-doctorate school to learn how to adjust the spine without “cracking” the vertebrae into position. Today, he uses a combination of several lower force chiropractic techniques. Dr. Peterson is state and nationally certified and has received numerous awards from his peers for outstanding clinical proficiency and commitment in his practice. Dr. Peterson first brought his unique method of Chiropractic to the Chippewa Valley in 2000 and has helped hundreds of people achieve better health. Dr. Peterson and his wife Lisa have six children. Lisa, also a chiropractor and a registered nurse, has chosen to stay at home with their children. Their six children have been regularly adjusted since birth. New patients are currently being accepted! Call or email now to schedule your no-cost consultation with Dr. Peterson!

Dr. Jeff Schemenauer grew up in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He was involved in many sports and outdoor activities. Those physical demands and having grown quickly as a child put great stressors on his body and eventually his health. As a young boy his parents brought him to the chiropractor to help his body cope with its many challenges. Dr. Schemenauer’s education began in 1990 at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. He then worked at the University of Chicago in Chicago doing cutting edge research on Parkinson’s Disease. With a peaked interest in health care he returned to school and graduated from the Mayo School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minnesota. From there he practiced as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and became certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. As a part of “The Trauma Center of the Pacific,” he dealt primarily with acute and trauma care. In 1993 Dr. Schemenauer married Michelle, a Chicago native and Psychology graduate from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Their combined naturalist approach to health care, and ever tiring stressors of medicine, led them to leave paradise and move to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 1999 Dr. Schemenauer graduated with academic honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He spent the next seven years building a large family practice in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In 2006, Dr. Schemenauer joined Simply Chiropractic. Dr. Schemenauer and Michelle have two boys and reside in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
